Mario Turković

Mario Turković is the CEO of EnergoVizije Ltd. It has more than 15 years of experience in the public and private sector, primarily in the field of public-private partnerships and concessions. He was in charge of the operational establishment of the legal and institutional framework for public private partnership (PPP) and concession in the Republic of Croatia, and was the author of the first PPP Act as well as all other relevant regulations (bylaws, guides, manuals). During his work at the PPP Agency, he was responsible for evaluating and approving a number of PPP projects, including the Zagreb Airport project, which is still the largest PPP project contracted and successfully implemented in Croatia.

• responsible for drafting of all PPP legal acts (PPP Law, PPP regulations, PPP Strategy) and actively participated in drafting of Concession/Public Procurement acts;
• responsible for setting up of the PPP Contract Register as well as of projects’ implementation monitoring system;
• participated in Negotiation Team for Chapter 5 (Public Procurement) during the Croatian pre-accession period (responsible particularly for all PPP related issues);
• responsible for preparation and execution of two EU funded IPA Twinning Light Projects;
• responsible for setting up of PPP educational system;
• participated in setting up of the Agency for Public-Private Partnership;
